Preferred Education & Qualifications Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro) and multi-media interactive authoring software such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate strongly preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and have an ability/desire to learn new software, as needed. Experience working with Learning Management Systems required. Detail-oriented with superb organizational and project management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Self-motivated, hard-working, ability to balance multiple tasks and dependable. Bachelor's degree required. 2+ years in designing and developing learning programs in the restaurant, retail or lodging industries a plus. 2+ years of previous relevant experience preferred: customer interaction, training, client services, program development, technical writing, etc. Ability to travel periodically.
Job Responsibilities & Overview Ability to develop key training modules to team members in a fun and engaging way. Design and develop eLearning/SCORM courses and publish content to the learning management system. Translate operational rollouts and procedures into compelling and effective training courses including written content, video, instructor lead training and eLearning. Demonstrate creativity, and innovation in digital materials, instructor lead and eLearning course design. Supports all training department projects and initiatives, including job aides, operations manuals, operations procedures, trainee workbooks, trainer workbooks, etc. Serve as author and producer to training video shoots (as needed) Facilitate training classes, webinars, virtual classrooms and working sessions (as needed) Ensure all internal/external stakeholders receive appropriate communications and communicate effectively throughout the company infrastructure. Ensure all communications and training materials are accurate, timely and complete. Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement. Responsible for maintaining all aspects of training records, course evaluations and reporting in a timely and accurate manger.
