Territory Sales Manager. TOY BRAND South East of England across to South West Up to £34,000 basic salary (plus excellent new hybrid car, bonus and other benefits) My client are a well known toy company looking for a new Territory Sales Manager to manage independent toy stores based in the South East and West of England. The suitable candidate may be based around London/Kent etc. area and must be comfortable with lots of driving. Fully expensed nights away will be approx 7 nights per month but you would be responsible for your own diary management so this would be up to the candidate to control. What is in it for you? The person doesn't necessarily have to be from another area sales role but they must be great with relationship building and be used to providing exceptional service and going above and beyond. This role would require lots of travel across the east of England and nights away so this is also something the individual must be comfortable with. Role responsibilities Agrees with the Field Sales Manager the individual customer and territory objectives, targets and programmes, breaking down the larger territory target by product and customer, for each measured time period or journey cycle Agrees additional business development objectives for the territory or individual customers to encourage growth beyond the normal levels expected Develops a professional rapport and business relationship with all buyers and influential contacts Develops their professional selling skills, not just relying on relationship selling Maintains planned call coverage Develops programme of prospecting/pioneer calling to identify new worthwhile customers on the assigned territory Identifies new product and new prospect opportunities Maintains full and accurate customer call records Avoids out-of-stock situations, checking stock in all stores, and sells in products to satisfy demand and sell through Achieves maximum levels of sales and distribution in current and potential stores Achieves optimum levels of product display in all appropriate outlets Motivates and trains customer staff to promote brand against competition, giving them guidance in any necessary product knowledge, and helping them understand and communicate the product features and benefits Provides market intelligence feedback on competitor activity BBBH25309
