Social Media Executive - Permanent - Hybrid working - Chester

You will be responsible for developing, guiding and monitoring our group presence across multiple social media platforms.

Duties will encompass a wide range of disciplines and skills, including strategy development, project management, customer service, networking and diarised content creation.

  • Responsible for the content and workflow strategy of the group social media platform to drive corporate, brand and company awareness
  • Make a significant improvement on marketing efforts by growing the social media network (followers, likes & engagement) across a range of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, YouTube, TikTok and other development platforms) whilst maintaining our group style, voice and ethos
  • Managing all Social Media planning, implementation, and activation across both paid and non-paid social activity
  • Protecting and enhancing our client's brand reputation via multiple Social Media platforms
  • Proposing, delivering, and analysing Social Media campaigns, initiatives, advertising, and promotions
  • Collaborate with external agency teams to produce high quality content for digital PR and marketing campaigns
  • Working with and maintaining a range of social media tools
  • Analysing the impact of change and implementing clear change processes
  • Conducting audience and buyer persona research
  • Ensuring high standards of customer service are maintained by the team during customer contact via Social Media channels
  • Regular reporting to Senior Management on the progress of all projects
  • Research, and written web copy + use of best practice in SEO and optimisation techniques. Copy will include landing pages, blogs, resources and case studies

To be successful in this role you will have:

Previous experience as a Social Media Executive or Social Media Assistant

Proven experience in marketing

Ability to work well in multidisciplined/cross-functional teams

Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills

Good interpersonal skills and ability to build close-knit relationships with outside agencies

Demonstrable initiative and enthusiasm

Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

Good verbal and written communication skills

Experience of Microsoft Excel and Word
