You will conduct research and analysis of complex, critical issues around Western Union’s Agent and Authorized Delegate program to apply to its principles to screening and list processing. In addition, help monitor and maintain portfolio health for agent screening data through complex analysis and investigation to ensure regulatory, operational, and privacy requirements are efficiently met. You will utilize a risk-based approach alongside analysis and research to identify efficiencies and enhancements to the program. You will be required to work on projects, assist with requirements, and execute on strategic priorities and enhancements related to the Agent screening program. Effective communication of findings to leaders and stakeholders in both small and large forums is required and you may respond to requests for legal documentation and screening records from agents, regulatory authorities, and internal or external auditors.Quality, productivity, and effective communication are essential, as you may participate on project teams representing AML Compliance.For such a pivotal role, you will demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills and will have strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and preferably MS Access. Must possess well developed interpersonal skills and be able to function well within a team-oriented environment. However, we’ll look to you to perform independently with minimal supervision and with a high level of autonomy. In addition, able to take a lead role and provide leadership to others in the department. You may be required to provide training, quality review and workflow management. Fluency in English is required, and other languages may be required for differing regions. Preferred experience in compliance including knowledge and understanding of anti-money laundering acts, laws and regulations as well as anti-money laundering issues and trends.
