A driven, ambitious and people focused Sales & Service Manager is required to join a leading international Design and Manufacturing business based in Enfield.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in identifying sales and profit related opportunities and will possess the knowledge and experience to mobilise an Area Sales team to turn these opportunities into revenue. The ideal candidate must be skilled within data analysis, managing opportunities through to order and the use of 'customer relationship management systems'.

The Sales & Service Manager will be responsible for leading the sales growth through both existing and new customers in the UK and Ireland and will provide leadership, support and mentorship to a team of seven which includes a small customer service team.

They will be a natural leader and will have a proven track record in consistently delivering excellent after-sales services and continually driving the profitability of the business.The position will report to the Sales Director and the main duties and responsibilities of the Sales & Service Manager will include:

  • Leading, guiding, and supporting the sales, inside sales and customer services professionals to develop, grow and deliver sales opportunities
  • Driving growth through sales and and after sales service support to customers
  • Building the sales plan and ensure targets are achieved
  • Organise and manage the the after-sales support function in term of repairs and deliveries
  • Resolve and troubleshoot complex sales and services issues
  • Building long-term relationships with clients
  • Perform competitor product and services analysis
  • Implement changes in sales and service strategies in line with the market needs
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate policies, procedures and standards.
  • Leading and supporting marketing activities, including trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
  • Reporting of sales statistics, customer visits, prospects, etc.

Key skills and experience required includes:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing, tech or the engineering sectors
  • The ability to inspire, communicate and motivate others
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process
  • To be technically minded
  • Solution focused and driven by targets
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Excellent time management skills to maximise their ability to reach goals
  • Experience with Salesforce would be an added advantage

This is a full-time office-based role working 39.5 hours a week. The package includes an attractive basic salary of up to £45,000 per annum plus on target bonus of up to £19,000 on top of your salary. Plus, company car.
