A Secondary school in Chorley are seeking to appoint two Cover Supervisors who are available as soon as possible to join their workforce. Both positions are full time, and are potentially going to develop into permanent posts.
The school are ideally looking for candidates who hold strong behaviour management, and have previous experience with mixed and low ability KS3/4 classes. You will be greatly supported by the Senior Leadership team, and will have full access to our CPD Academy to help support you enhance your career.
Pupils develop academically acquiring the knowledge and skills which will equip them for their future. This is achieved as pupils are immersed in a rich curriculum delivered through engaging lessons. Pupils also develop their character through the enrichment and personal development programmes. In this way we are confident that the young people of this school will become successful learners and responsible citizens who will contribute positively to their community.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons to students; a classroom can potentially be of up to 30 students
- Have excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
- Be confident in teaching students of all learning abilities
- Have a passion for teaching and a drive to enhance your career
- Hold a Degree or similar qualification, and have a subject specialism, is beneficial
- Have previous experience supporting pupils with SEND/SEMH is beneficial
- Have flexible availability
