Brand new opportunity to join a close knit, friendly and successful team. Our client who have a niche client base are currently recruiting for an ambitious individual to enhance their team. This will be on a full time, permanent basis from their offices in Mitcheldean.
The main purpose of this role will be to contact clients in order to chase up payment of overdue invoices. You will assist the clients by providing copies of invoices & statements, obtaining payment dates and managing any day to day general queries.
As part of the collections team you will work alongside fantastic people who have many years' experience and offer full support and guidance along the way. To be considered for this role you must show determination and willingness to get stuck in. You will ideally have some experience working within an office environment as well as being confident on the telephone and have a proactive approach to identifying opportunities wo improve the departments performance.
Full training will be provided.
-Chasing Clients for overdue payments
-To deal with invoice and payment allocation queries
-To allocate client payments and deal with erroneous payments received as appropriate
-Manage the inbox used for payment confirmation and apply remittances received appropriately
-Update all in-house systems with the timeline of events with clear and meaningful comments (relating to both verbal and written communications)
-Archive all letters and emails for future reference
-Identify and escalate adverse information to the Collections Manager
-Raise Invoice & Timesheet disputes and communicate with the Customer to resolve them promptly
-Complete first invoice calls in preparation to receive client payment for invoices produced in a timely manner and report any concerns to the Collections Manager

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
Salary: Up to £22,050 per annum, depending on experience + company benefits including, healthcare plan, company pension, team incentives and Christmas and summer parties
