The Company: A nationally renowned, multi-site advisory firm based in Central Leeds who are looking to add an IFA Administrator to their back-office support team. My client is a truly independent financial advice firm who adopt a really personal, tailored approach to Ultra-High New Worth, private client focused financial planning and are looking to attract an experienced financial services professional into their team.

The Role: A very broad wealth administration support role geared around supporting multiple high performing financial advisers across investments, pensions and family planning/tax & trust advice. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Arranging client meetings and prepare client meeting packs to support allocated adviser(s).
  • Processing and monitoring of all new business (both for new and existing clients).
  • Ensure that financial transactions are completed correctly and files are fully FCA compliant.
  • Handle all ad-hoc valuation requests in a timely, compliant manner, meeting agreed performance standards when produced.
  • Contact and liaise with relevant product providers/third parties to obtain accurate policy information for ad-hoc valuation production.
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors and accountants as necessary in order to obtain relevant information and resolve queries.
  • Handling the distribution of letters of authority and correspondence to clients, professional introducers and other third parties where appropriate.
  • Maintain the CRM system (CURO) to ensure that KYC information for clients is entered fully and accurately.
  • Process and issue client invoices including adviser charging arrangements and liaise with the Finance team to chase overdue payments.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and third parties.
  • Assess client file documents in accordance with compliance requirements, identifying and correcting remedial actions as requested.

The role will require you to support both technical staff and consultants in the work they do, being that first point of contact for all clients as required.

The Person: Must come from a wealth management background and have exposure to supporting IFA's/financial advisers in a private wealth environment across investments and pensions advice as a foundation. Ideally my client is looking for a progressive, ambitious individual looking to develop in a high-profile advisory firm within the private wealth market-place in a very professional, client-centric environment.
