Job Title: Settings Manager (Lunch Cover, After School & Holiday Clubs) - 30 hours Fixed Contract Salary: £24k per annum (Full Time Equivalent) Location: Star Primary, Canning Town E16 4NH & Our Lady & St Josephs, E14 0DE Working Hours in setting: 11.00 - 14.00 for lunch time cover, 15.00 - 18.00 for After School Club & Up to 40 hrs per week during Holiday Club Sessions NB: This is working between the two schools Are you a big kid at heart? To join our team you will ideally have experience of working with Primary School children aged 4-11 years. For our managerial roles, we do ask that you have previously led a team and that you have the relevant qualifications or experience in childcare. A Day of Play! As a Childcare Setting Manager you will be responsible for Using your experience, qualifications and our policies to create an exciting play environment for children to thrive. Lead a team of educators to provide a whole of child approach to learning. Engaging with children in entertaining and educational play. Supervising children to ensure their safety and security is a primary focus Being a leader, empowering your team to deliver within safeguarding and health and safety procedures. For Your Adventure! We know that heroes come in all shapes and sizes, but here are some things that will help you get the job: Level 2 or 3 Childcare Qualification Some experience working with 4 to 11 year old children is essential Previous experience managing a team would help Enthusiasm and a passion for people. Excellent communication skills You re a big kid at heart Paediatric first aid qualification is a nice to have (we can organise this for you).
