You will also manage and control moisture, pests and diseases and ensure plant stock are managed, recorded and updated.Additionally, you will:- Oversee the hygiene and cleanliness of the nursery- Assist in the day-to-day management of the nursery budget and financial records- Operate and troubleshoot the automatic irrigation systemAbout YouTo be considered as an Assistant Nursery Manager, you will need:- Demonstrable experience of horticulture production- Experience of managing and/or supervising operational staff- Experience of undertaking health and safety checks and/or toolbox talks- Excellent interpersonal skills- Excellent customer service skills- IT proficiency- At a minimum, a Horticulture Level 2 Diploma or equivalent qualification/experienceA full, valid driving licence would be beneficial to your application.
